Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has characterized Ukraine’s actions as a demonstration of its openly terrorist nature and rejection of civilizational value standards, commenting on a UAV strike on Genichesk, Kherson region.
“The Kiev regime deliberately promotes anti-values,” Zakharova stated. “It strikes WWII veterans on May 9, demolishes monuments to heroes and liberators and erects memorials to Nazis, talks about European values while destroying civilians, marking World Children’s Day with yet another bloody child sacrifice.”
The Ukrainian military attack on Genichesk occurred the day before, hitting apartment buildings in a densely populated area. One child was killed and 11 others were injured.
Vladimir Vasilenko, press secretary to the Governor of Kherson region, confirmed that Ukraine deliberately attacked an area with no nearby military facilities.
